The Excellent Eleven

My little tribute to Sodor Island 3D. As you all may know by now, they've bit the dust and closed up shop because some nuts preferred the old content over the new stuff, and were sharing it against their creator's wishes. After being with them for so long, even before Si3D became a thing, it's sad to see them go... but like all good things, I knew it had to come to an end sometime. Just didn't expect it to be so soon...

Well at least now we have places like Sodor Workshops and Railway Works 3D, who are already producing content to replace what we lost, and they're doing a fantastic job with it. I say the future for Trainz Thomas content is in good hands.

However, I must thank the entire team of Sodor Island 3D for all the wonderful content they've produced over the years, and their team for going through so much to do it just so we could have a little blue engine to drive on the computer. You gave us everything we needed... but we didn't deserve any of it. We never did. It sickens me to think people would take this stuff for granted, and never once did they even drop a speck of respect to the Si3D team, who didn't have to do anything they did for people. But they did anyway. 

I dedicate this picture to all of the team: a portrait of some of their magnificent models of the original Awdry eleven. It is the least I could do.

Hope you all like this, and Sean or Richard, if you ever see this, let me say to you now...
